This is my third painting and, by far, my favorite. I think darker photos tend to be better as the first two I had done were lighter colors and didn’t translate as well. I’ll be ordering another soon!!

the personal photo kits are excellent. Sometimes the numbers are too big for the teensy spaces... but that is part of the difficulty. They are GREAT
Loved working on this! Some parts were difficult just because it was so small, but so worth it! This took me about 2 weeks to complete- worked on it about 1-2 hours a day and I found it very relaxing!

I loved it! This is my second custom kit. I made the background a little lighter because the color the canvas was asking for was too dark to my liking. I ordered a third one (not custom kit) and used gesso as primer.
VERY NICE PRODUCT! The printed canvas was clearly printed and the paints were great. I ordered extra paint but didn’t need it. I also ordered the premium brushes and they were very good. I really enjoyed watching my grandkids come to life on the canvas. The paint colors were very good. I’m already looking through our photos for another project. THANK YOU!
I requested a proof prior and it was perfect! The paint needed multiple coats, and I am going to tweak a few colors but overall I couldn’t be happier with this product or outcome! I have already ordered 2 more to do as Christmas gifts and can’t wait to start those also!
The canvas is well-prepared, gessoed and smooth to accept the paint. The brushes could be a little better quality, but they're okay for the duration of the painting.
This is my second one. I am almost finished and I have my third one already on the way. The first two have been of my family(kids and grandkids) and I really enjoyed seeing them come to life. This time I’m going to do a photo I took of a large live oak tree.

I’ve tried so many Paint by numbers companies and 1001Canvas is the best quality by far. Superior paints, best color selection to match my custom picture, and the best canvas to paint on with a paper copy to refer to. This is my fourth custom painting, And I have two more ordered.
My paint by numbers kit was very cool. I enjoyed painting it and I am so happy to have the finished photo. It does take a long time to receive the custom orders (which the site tells you), just keep in mind if you are ordering it as a present. You can check out my painting and photo I sent below.
Absolutely obsessed with this new painting style. So many fun hours of painting and relaxing. I LOVE how it turned out, and will be buying more custom kits for myself, friends and family! Definitely worth the extra $$ to get the extra brushes as well! Cannot recommend this enough!

I hosted a tea and painting party where everyone ordered their canvas in advance. As a non artist, I had way more fun than expected and ended up finishing my canvas - oftentimes while sitting next to my kids doing their homework or while listening to an audiobook. It was totally soothing. I could not recommend more and I never do online reviews.
